Modules in Figurro

 

The Figurro Accounting Software Package has been specifically developed with the user in mind and allows the user ease of navigation within all modules of the program. It is a simple but powerful program that's easy to use and quick to master. From the main menu, the user selects the function they want to perform by clicking on the relevant filing cabinet to reveal the files within. All modules within Figurro are color coded for further ease of use. A brief description about each category on the main menu is as follows.

General Ledger

This module ties together all of the other accounting modules and is used to enter non-routine events such as adjusting entries. It is also the part of Figurro that produces financial reports for management and external users. Furthermore, it completes the closing process and sets up the accounts for the next accounting period. This section also enables the user to maintain the chart of accounts.

Account Receivable

Information relating to sales, how much is owed by each customer and when payments are expected to be made is entered and maintained in this module. Statements can also be prepared as well as periodical analysis of account receivable to highlight slow paying accounts.

Invoicing Control

Documents such as quotations, sales orders, delivery orders, invoices, debit and credit notes and cash bills are issued. When documents are issued Figurro automatically updates relevant areas within the program. For example, when an invoice is issued, Figurro will also create the journal entry and post it to the general ledger, it will also make the necessary postings to the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger and the detailed inventory records.

Inventory Control

Purchase orders, receipts of merchandise and supplier invoice are entered, enabling management to easily identify what is on order from whom and how long an order has been outstanding. With these transactions entered as they occur Figurro maintains an up-to-date inventory record.

Account Payable

Purchase data and information relating to amounts owed are stored and maintained by Figurro in this module. Managers can also keep an account of the amount owed to each individual vendor allowing better planning of cash flow requirements.

Control Center

Cost code information is stored in the Control Center allowing the user to maintain and analyse all costs relating to individual projects or departments. Each project or department will have its own unique access code.

Human Resources

Maintain employee information such as passport numbers and expiry, visa status and expiry etc. Figurro will automatically alert the user when expiry dates are approaching. The alert period can be pre-determined by the user. This module can also be used to store history relating to current and ex-employees.
