Back tests

The back tests are real, not just a fake image or a pseudo statement .You can reproduce the same Strategy Tester Reports by using MT4 Trading Platforms from Alpari UK and downloaded data from MetaQuotes history center.

Don't have to manually change GMT offset during backtests (let AutoGMT = TRUE ).Do not perform back-tests in weekend because the spread is inflated.

Multivers Reloaded NFA Style Back-Tests

For NFA registered brokers(e.g. IBFX, Alpari US) it is necessary to set NFA_Broker parameter to TRUE.
In this case hedging(hold buy and sell positions in the same currency pair at the same time) is not allowed,
and closing strategy is based on FIFO rules(the first orders to be closed are the first that were opened).

Requirements

Copy "multivers.dll" into MetaTrader4\experts\libraries folder and "multivers.ex4" into MetaTrader4\experts\ folder

Use it with EURUSD, USDCHF, GBPUSD, EURCHF, EURGBP, USDJPY, USDCAD and GBPCHF on M15 time frame.

It trades between 21.00 - 23.00 GMT

If you have other EA's, our recommendation is to run Forex Multivers on separate MT4 instances.

Best brokers so far are Alpari UK (FSA regulated) and Alpari US (NFA regulated).

Before you add Forex Multivers to charts change the settings from M4 menu Tools->Options->Expert Advisors like in the following image:

 

Parameters' Settings

News Sensitive - when this parameter is set to true and an Important News or Bank Holidays is expected,
trading will be automatically stopped on the impacted currency. The rules are:
- no trading at all when it is Bank Holidays
- no trading three hours before and after the Big News

NFA_Broker -- if your broker is NFA regulated, set this parameter to TRUE.
(In this case hedging is not allowed, and closing strategy is based on FIFO rules)

TakeProfit -- desired Take Profit in pips

StopLoss -- desired Stop Loss in pips

Aggressive -- level of aggressiveness
   up to four simultaneous different trades (one per each strategy) if Aggressive = TRUE
   up to two simultaneous different trades if Aggressive = FALSE

GMTOffset -- offset in hours between GMT and your broker time

AutoGMT -- the GMT offset will be automated detected

FixedLot -- lots to use if UseFixedLot = TRUE

Risk -- risk percent if UseFixedLot = FALSE (e.g. if risk = 10% and Account Balance = 2500 then lots = 2.5)

If your broker have changed the margin requirements to a minimum of 2% for major currencies and 5% for exotic currencies
due to new CFTC rule, we recommend to change the Risk parameter to 0.5 on all pairs.

 

Magic -- magic number used by expert to identify it's own orders
    ( initial magic number will be increased by one for each strategy )

Allow_BUY -- buy orders can be inhibited if this parameter is set to FALSE
Allow_SELL -- sell orders can be inhibited if this parameter is set to FALSE
